Most retail stores have a complicated schedule for charges. They charge one fee for in-store repairs, a higher fee for work at your location, laptop repairs cost even more, and on-site networking is the most expensive of all. My rate is simple: $30/hour for anything. Since I am so small there is no GST or PST on labour or used parts, but there is for new parts.
